It is unlikely for an MOT exemption certificate to require a further extension but the information published on the Government’s official website earlier this week tells us that in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus MOT due dates for cars, motorcycles and light vans will be extended by 6 months from 30th of  March 2020. It is anticipated that the situation will get back to normal after this period and will not require a further extension.
